Finding Your Event Links

You can use event links to make it easier for your audience to connect to and remember events. Event links automatically add events to visitors’ calendars. 

To create or edit event links, navigate to “Event links” on the left menu on your dashboard. You can also find them by clicking on your name on the top menu on the homepage.

Event Links Information

You’ll see the following page:

  1. Event link: Click this button to create a new event link. 
  2. Export: Download data on your event links in CSV, JSON or PDF format for review or analysis.
  3. Filters: Search or sort the list of links. You can also set the results per page from here.
  4. Event link name: The name of your event link. Clicking this will allow you to change settings for the link. 
  5. Event Link URL: The Short URL you’ve assigned to your event link. Clicking this will download your event data.
  6. Project: The project you’ve assigned this event link to.
  7. Total pageviews: The total number of times visitors have downloaded your event data. Clicking this will load a page to show various other statistics about your event link.
  8. Created on: The date you created the event link.
  9. Updated on: The most recent date you updated the event link.
  10. Change Status: Toggle the event link active or inactive. Visitors cannot access inactive event links.
  11. Copy to clipboard: Copy the event Short URL to paste somewhere else.
  12. Open the submenu:

  1. Edit: Click this to edit your event link. 
  2. Statistics: View statistics about your event link, such as page views.
  3. Create QR: Takes you to create a QR code based on your event link. This allows visitors to connect to your event by scanning with their phone.
  4. Duplicate: Creates a new event link with the same information as the selected event link.
  5. Delete: This permanently removes your event link. Make sure you’re certain before clicking this, as it cannot be undone.

Create an Event Link

From the Event links page, click on “Event link” in the top-right corner.

Next, enter a Short URL for the event link and click on “Create Event URL.”

Edit the event link as needed.

Edit an Event Link

To edit an event link, from the Event links page, click on the name of the event link you wish to edit. If you just created a new event link, the edit page will load automatically.

  1. Link: This is the link to your event. Clicking this will download the event data. This is the link you use for others to access your event data.
  2. Buttons for controlling the event link. These are the same as on the main page.
  3. Short URL: Enter here to change your short URL.
  4. Event Name: Enter your event name. This is how visitors will recognize your event in calendar and scheduling apps.
  5. Location: The physical address or location for the event. Enter it as you would in a calendar or scheduling app.
  6. Event URL: The digital address of the event, in case of an online event or an event with online scheduling. 
  7. Notes: Any notes you want included in the event for visitors. 
  8. Event starts on: The date and time when the event begins.
  9. Event ends on: The date and time when the event ends.
  10. First alert reminder: Set when you’d people to receive a reminder for an event.
  11. Second alert reminder: Set a second alert to remind visitors of the event.
  12. Timezone: The timezone in which the event is taking place. This allows calendar and scheduling apps to use local time for attendees. 
  13. Pixels: Set which tracking Pixels are active for your link.
  14. Temporary URL: Set your event link to only be available for a limited time or a certain number of clicks.
  15. Protection: Set password protection or sensitive content warnings on the link. 
  16. Advanced: Connect the link to a project or add a splash page when visitors click the link.
  17. Update: Updates your event link with the changes on this page. Remember to click this when you’re finished to save your changes.
