Finding Your Splash Pages
You can use splash pages to highlight your brand or create a call to action. You can also use them for disclaimers or to prepare a visitor for your content. You can place ads on a splash page to generate extra revenue. You can set splash pages on biolink page load, or on clicking any Hook2.us links.
To find splash pages, navigate to “Splash pages” on the left menu on your dashboard. You may need to scroll down to find it.

Splash Page Information
You will find the following page:
- Create splash page: Click here to create a new splash page.
- Export: download metadata related to your splash pages. File options are CSV, JSON and PDF.
- Filters: Search or sort the list of splash pages. You can also set the results per page from here.
- Name: This is the name you gave to your splash page. You can click here to edit your splash page.
- Title: The title visitors can see on your splash page. If you hover over this, you’ll also see the description on your splash page, if any.
- Timer: This shows how long before the visitor can be redirected to the main resource.
- Created on: The date you created the splash page on Hook2.us.
- Updated on: The most recent date you updated the splash page on Hook2.us.
- Submenu: Open the submenu:

- Edit: Click here to edit your splash page.
- Delete: Permanently removes this splash page from your account. Make sure you’re certain before clicking this, as it cannot be undone.
Create or Edit a Splash Page
To edit an existing splash page, click on the name of the splash page. To create a new splash page, click on “Create splash page” in the top-right corner.

You’ll see the following form to create or edit your splash page:
- Name: Enter a name to give to this splash page. You’ll use it to identify your splash page on Hook2.us.
- Logo: You can upload a logo to enhance the branding on your splash page. This can be any of .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .svg, .gif, or .webp. You can see a preview image on the right. You can remove the image by clicking “Remove selected file.”
- Title: A title for your splash page. This appears at the top of the page.
- Description: A description on your splash page. This appears under the Title.
- Secondary button: A second button aside from Continue. It can give visitors another option, such as Back, or a link to your website or store.
- Auto redirect: Toggle whether visitors are automatically redirected when the timer (see below) counts down. Otherwise, visitors must click Continue.
- Countdown timer: This sets how long before the visitor can access the main resource.
- Advanced: Insert custom CSS or JavaScript to control the appearance of the splash page. You can also include ads headers or footers.
- Click “Create” or “Update.” Which word appears depends on whether you’re creating a new splash page or editing an existing one.
You can assign a splash page to a Hook2.us link or a biolinks page. First, go to the given resource and click the name to begin editing. From here, you can find “Splash page” under the “Advanced” section.
Visitors who click on the link or navigate to the assigned biolink page will see the splash page first.
